Third-party software distributed by pocketweb.tools =================================================== PocketWebTools runs its AI models in your browser, so some third-party software is served to your device along with the site. This file lists what that software is, who wrote it, and what licence it carries. The full licence texts sit in /licenses/ next to this file. This file covers code, fonts and model weights that WE serve from pocketweb.tools. Most model weights are downloaded by your browser directly from Hugging Face under their own licences, which are stated on each tool's page; the one exception, DeepFilterNet3 for the noise remover, is served from here and listed in section 7. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. phonon-tts -- MIT License OR Apache License 2.0 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHAT IT IS The runtime that runs the Phonon text-to-speech model in your browser, written in Rust and compiled to WebAssembly by its authors. Our text-to- speech tool (/text-to-speech) loads it when you generate speech. WHERE IT IS SERVED FROM https://pocketweb.tools/vendor/phonon-tts-0.4.1/ Version 0.4.1, by Gradium. Its JavaScript files and the single-threaded WebAssembly build (wasm/), redistributed byte for byte, unmodified, with both licence files beside them (LICENSE-MIT, LICENSE-APACHE). https://github.com/gradium-ai/xn-ptts npm: https://www.npmjs.com/package/phonon-tts/v/0.4.1 LICENCE MIT OR Apache-2.0, at your option. Full texts: /vendor/phonon-tts-0.4.1/LICENSE-MIT and /licenses/apache-2.0.txt The model it runs, Phonon 31m (English), is downloaded by your browser from Hugging Face, not served from here: gradium/phonon-31m-en and the voices in gradium/phonon-voices, both Apache 2.0. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. WebLLM -- Apache License 2.0 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- @mlc-ai/web-llm version 0.2.84, by the MLC AI authors. https://github.com/mlc-ai/web-llm Served from https://pocketweb.tools/vendor/web-llm-0.2.84.js Redistributed unmodified. Full text: /licenses/apache-2.0.txt ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3. heic-to, libheif and libde265 -- GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHAT IT IS A decoder for HEIC and HEIF photos, the format iPhones save by default. Safari can open these files itself. Chrome, Firefox and Edge cannot, so the image converter loads this decoder in those browsers, and only after you add a HEIC file. WHERE IT IS SERVED FROM https://pocketweb.tools/vendor/heic-to-1.6.6.js Its licence pointer sits beside it: https://pocketweb.tools/vendor/heic-to-1.6.6.NOTICE.txt One file holds all three projects: heic-to is the JavaScript wrapper, and libheif (the HEIF container reader) and libde265 (the HEVC decoder) were compiled to JavaScript and embedded in it by the heic-to authors. We redistribute that file byte for byte, unmodified. It is loaded only by the image converter (/image-converter and the pages named after a conversion, such as /heic-to-jpg). No other page on the site requests it. LICENCE GNU Lesser General Public License, version 3. Full text: /licenses/lgpl-3.0.txt The LGPL is a set of additional permissions on top of the GNU General Public License, version 3, whose full text is at /licenses/gpl-3.0.txt SOURCE CODE heic-to 1.6.6, by Hopper Gee https://github.com/hoppergee/heic-to npm: https://www.npmjs.com/package/heic-to/v/1.6.6 libheif, by struktur AG and contributors https://github.com/strukturag/libheif libde265, by struktur AG and contributors https://github.com/strukturag/libde265 Stated plainly: the heic-to README says this release is built from libheif 1.23.6 with libde265 1.0.16, and gives the build command. The minified bundle carries no version string we could check that against, so those two version numbers are the README's, not ours. REPLACING IT WITH YOUR OWN BUILD (LGPL-3.0 section 4) The decoder is a separate file that our code loads by its address at run time. It is not merged into our own scripts. You can build heic-to from the sources above and have your browser serve your build at the same address (a local override in the browser's developer tools does this). If you want the corresponding source and cannot obtain it from the addresses above, write to support@pocketweb.tools and we will supply it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4. LAME -- GNU Lesser General Public License ------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHAT IT IS The LAME MP3 encoder (https://lame.sourceforge.io/). No browser can write an MP3 file by itself, so two tools load LAME, and only at the moment an MP3 is written: the transcript editor (/text-based-video-editor) when you export your edit as MP3, and the video to MP3 converter (/video-to-mp3 and /mp4-to-mp3) when you convert a file. WHERE IT IS SERVED FROM LAME 3.100 reaches your browser inside @mediabunny/mp3-encoder version 1.61.0, whose authors compiled it to WebAssembly. That package is built into the site's own script files rather than served under /vendor/, and it runs the encoder as a separate WebAssembly module in a worker of its own. We have not modified LAME or the package. LICENCE LAME: GNU Lesser General Public License. LAME's source files state version 2 or, at your option, any later version; the version 3 text is at /licenses/lgpl-3.0.txt (with /licenses/gpl-3.0.txt, which it builds on). @mediabunny/mp3-encoder, the wrapper around it: Mozilla Public License 2.0. DeepFilterNet3 -- MIT License OR Apache License 2.0 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHAT IT IS DeepFilterNet3, a speech noise-removal model, together with libDF, the runtime that runs it. The Background Noise Remover (/background-noise-remover) uses it to take background noise out of a recording on your device. WHERE IT IS SERVED FROM https://pocketweb.tools/vendor/deepfilternet3-d375b2d/df_bg.wasm One WebAssembly file that we BUILD from source (it is not an upstream release): libDF compiled with its `wasm` feature, which embeds the model weights (models/DeepFilterNet3_onnx.tar.gz) into the binary. Downloaded only when you choose a file on that page. Source: https://github.com/Rikorose/DeepFilterNet Commit: d375b2d8309e0935d165700c91da9de862a99c31 Changes: a 36-line patch to libDF/src/wasm.rs from mcut (https://github.com/mattppal/mcut, pull request 172, packages/voice/wasm/deepfilternet.patch, Apache License 2.0): it adds a constructor with the reference command-line tool's thresholds, a delay query and a many-frames-per-call function. The patch and the lockfile are copied byte for byte from mcut. Recipe: apps/web/scripts/deepfilternet/build-wasm.sh in our repository (rustc 1.98.0, wasm-bindgen 0.2.92, binaryen 132 wasm-opt). sha256: 6f5f657b358e38af2a90699c45b66824f5b83ec545bd3aa4a598adae912e227d LICENCE Copyright (c) 2021 Hendrik Schroeter. The weights carry no separate licence of their own. RUST LIBRARIES COMPILED INTO IT 84 Rust crates, plus the Rust standard library. Every one is listed, with its version, the licence we use it under and its copyright holders, and with the full text of every licence that requires it (MIT, and the Sun Microsystems and FreeBSD notices inside libm), in: https://pocketweb.tools/vendor/deepfilternet3-d375b2d/THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt Where a crate offers Apache-2.0 we use it under Apache-2.0 (70 crates). 14 are used under MIT: the 13 that do not offer Apache-2.0 (aho-corasick, byteorder, bytes, memchr, nom, ordered-multimap, realfft, rubato, rust-ini, same-file, scan_fmt, trim-in-place, walkdir) and libm, which does, but whose code comes from musl and FreeBSD. None is copyleft. Generated by apps/web/scripts/deepfilternet/third-party-notices.mjs from `cargo tree -e normal,no-proc-macro` for the wasm32 target and the `wasm` feature; procedural macros and build-time-only crates leave no code in the file and are not listed. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Questions ------------------------------------------------------------------------- support@pocketweb.tools If you believe something we serve is missing from this file, please tell us and we will correct it.
